Cricket Formats Explained
Betting becomes more enjoyable for Bangladesh cricket fans when you understand the different formats. Betting markets vary slightly across each format.
T20
Each team plays 20 overs and the match generally finishes in 3 to 3.5 hours. In-play betting markets are most active due to the fast pace. Over/under runs, number of sixes and wicket markets are popular.
ODI (One-Day)
In the 50-over format a match takes around 7 to 8 hours. Good value can be found in handicap betting, top run scorer and partnership markets.
Test
In five-day cricket there is always the possibility of a draw. By analysing pitch conditions, weather and team strength, you can place longer-term bets.
The Hundred
This newer format is played in England over 100 balls. Being the fastest form of cricket, the betting markets here are just as active as in T20.
Popular Leagues
BPL (Bangladesh Premier League), IPL (Indian Premier League), BBL (Big Bash League) and PSL (Pakistan Super League) — all are available on 955bed.
Fishing and Arcade Games
Fishing games from JILI on 955bed are becoming increasingly popular among players in Bangladesh. These games are a little different from slots — here you directly rotate a cannon on screen to catch fish.
How Does It Work?
A fixed amount is deducted for each shot — this is your "cost per shot". Small fish carry a lower multiplier, large fish a higher one. Hitting a boss fish or special target gives you the chance to win a big prize.
🐟 Cannon Level
Increasing the cannon level raises both the power of your shots and the cost. Using a higher level is effective for targeting large fish.
💰 Fish Multiplier
Each fish has its own multiplier. Special event fish and boss fish carry the highest prizes.
🎯 Boss Fish
A huge boss fish occasionally appears on screen. Taking it down can earn you a big prize, but it also takes more shots.
🎮 Arcade Variants
Mega Fishing, All-star Fishing, Bombing Fishing and Jackpot Fishing — each with its own distinct special features.
💡 Tips for Managing Your Spend
Start at a low cannon level and keep a maximum of 20 to 30% of your session budget for boss fish. Instead of shooting continuously, watch the situation and adjust the cannon level accordingly.
RTP and House Edge Explained
RTP, or Return to Player, is a number that indicates how much a game will return on average per ৳100 wagered over the long term. For example, if a slot has an RTP of 96%, in theory an average of ৳96 comes back for every ৳100 bet. However, this is only a long-term average — results in any single session can differ.
Typical RTP ranges by game type:
| Game Type | Typical RTP Range |
|---|---|
| Slot Games | 92% – 98% |
| Blackjack (with correct strategy) | Around 99% |
| Roulette (European) | 94% – 97% |
| Baccarat | 98% – 99% |
| Crash Games | 95% – 97% |
House edge is the opposite side of RTP — the casino's advantage. An RTP of 96% means a house edge of 4%. This is not a scam; it is the normal business model of any legitimate gaming platform.
Keep in mind — RTP is a theoretical calculation and can be much higher or lower in the short term. So set a budget before you play and do not use RTP as a guarantee of winning.
Bankroll Management Guide
One of the foundations of responsible gaming is bankroll management. The core idea is — only set aside what you can afford to lose, nothing more. Any experienced player in Dhaka will tell you that without discipline, it is hard to keep playing over the long term.
Set a Monthly Gaming Budget
Decide in advance how much money you will spend on gaming each month. This amount should never come from rent, food, or other essential expenses.
Divide Into Sessions
Break your monthly budget into smaller sessions. Use a fixed amount per day or per session — do not use up your entire budget in one day.
The 1–5% Per-Bet Rule
Never put more than 5% of your total session budget on a single bet. This keeps your bankroll going longer and reduces the risk of losing it all.
The Stop-on-Win Rule
Set a "win target" in advance. For example, end the session when you have doubled your starting budget. Giving back winnings out of greed is a common mistake.
Respect Your Loss Limit
Once you have used up your set amount for the session, stop. Placing more bets to recover losses is called "chasing losses" — it is the most dangerous habit.
Track Your Play History
Write down your wins, losses, and spending for each session in a small note. This helps you understand your playing patterns and change habits if needed.
Key Rules at a Glance
- Set your monthly budget in advance
- No more than 5% of your session on a single bet
- Stop when you reach your win target
- Respect your loss limit — do not chase
- Keep a note of each session
- Take breaks — do not play non-stop
